Love this phone!

I love this phone. I just wanted something simple and I wanted something that would close completely so that the other things in my purse would not scratch and mess it up. Also - I have not had any problems with this phone being unlocked. My husband has probably purchased about a dozen different phones from online sellers who say the phone is new and unlocked. This is never the case. None of the phones are truly new and if they are they are not a good qulity version even when they are advertised as being the U.S. version (they are not). This phone was exactly as advertised - it's simple and easy and has no problems whatsoever.

One of the Best Clamshell Phones

The Samsung GT-C3520 is an awesome device for any user that just needs a phone. I bought this device specifically for my grandmother who only needs a phone phone. The call quality was clear when using the device (AT&T 3G with four bars out of five service) and simply does just that. Make phone calls. The best part about this is that it is an unlocked device so you may take this to any GSM provider around the world or even in the United States (AT&T, T-Mobile USA, TracFone, Straight Talk, etc...) by inserting the appropriate SIM card. I myself have done this in many foreign countries and have saved a ton of money in roaming charges.Some extras on the device include:-microSD: store photos and music to listen on the go. Great for listening to tunes on the go.-Bluetooth: Connect it to any Bluetooth device such as a headphone for hands-free calling or Bluetooth speakers-FM Radio: If you like listening to radio instead of stored music, this is great too.-It's a phone: This mobile device puts forward the feature that a phone should be built around on. Actually making a phone call.-Old Person Friendly/Kid's First Phone: The interface is easy enough for a senior to navigate and use the device. It also doubles a great starter mobile for kids so they can keep in contact with you while also being able to listen to their music too without lugging around an extra iPod or MP3 player.Overall, it is great for seniors, being the first phone for your kid, or for your vacation to keep in touch without racking up huge phone bills.

very dissapointed..- is not international version after all.!!!

I bought the phone because it said it was unlocked and it would work worldwide, turns out that the bandwidth that the phone can detect does not support the 3g network in europe, at least in Germany where i live. I bought it expecting it to work properly and here it can only detect gsm signal. So all of the features on the phone work slower and i can't really use it like i wanted. So if you want an international phone do not buy it, if it is for the states i guess it is ok!

Review of the Samsung Galaxy Ace

The Samsung Galaxy Ace is a real pleasure to use. It is relatively small and light making it easy to carry. The display is very readable even outside in the sun. Call reception is very good and voice clarity at either end is very good as well. Auto rotation lags a bit and sometimes needs a little prodding. Battery life is great. The camera is good with resolution and clarity more than acceptable. Picture colors can be a little washed out as the auto white balance sometimes has trouble. I've taken to Ace to Germany and Austria and had not trouble connecting overseas cellular services. Very seamless. To date I have not been able to wirelessly connect to my home network and download/upload files. I must connect via USB and use the Kies software which is really clunky. But I'm still learning. Horrible Battery

I have emailed the seller twice with no response so far. The phone is excellent but the battery sucks!! I mean literally the battery doesn't even exist. 20 minutes of call drains 80% of battery. i have turned off all the background processes, wifi, 3g, blue tooth, screen brightness 0%. So literally i am trying to use it as basic phone but even then it cant give me more than 30 mins of talk time and 10-12 hrs of standby time. 2 Emails to seller and no response so far. Will return it back after 1-2 days more.

Good option if qwerty is your need

Blackberry 9790 has pretty much everything that you would expect in a BB Bold, only that it is much sleeker and lighter. The thick chrome lining that runs around the edge adds to the sleekness, and differentiates it from similar looking Curve models. It is arguably the most good looking BB of recent times with one of the best performances.This one came without any logo which is the way I wanted, and they shipped to me in a week.I have heard a few stories on the short batter life - Well I don't think it's too bad and my reasoning is simple. I consider myself a moderate user -- not too many apps but still an app user -- then if you have to charge your device every night (any smartphone would need that), so how does is matter if there's 20% or 40% battery remaining at the end of your day.If you like to type a lot and have decided qwerty kb is the one for you -- then there aren't many better choices than the Bold 9790!

Package included: Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus Cell Phone (International Version - Unlocked), White Earphones, Mini-USB to USB Cable and Quick Start Guides (English & Spanish).This is my second smartphone (also bought in Amazon) and it's working fine with Movistar's network EDGE/3G (Ecuador, South America). Definitely, Android is an upgrade over the Blackberry OS.PROS: I'm pleased so far with: Android OS, 1Ghz Processor, 3GB Internal Storage, 5.0 MP Camera and Google Play Store.I'm really satisfied with the Google's sync capabilities. I use a couple gmail accounts and I browse with Google Chrome in my PC, so I can sync everything on the cloud (e-mail, calendar, contacts, documents, maps, etc). In other words, I can access my info anywhere and anytime.CONS: I think the antenna signal could have a better reception. maybe it's the 3G network... Samsung's accesories build quality feel kind of cheap compared to Blackberry accesories. Also, I couldn't find enough accesories in Ecuador, you better buy those in Amazon.I fully recommend this seller (BLUTEKUSA). They delivered it as advertised and fast ;)

This phone has some great features

A lot of the reviews here criticize everything about the phone, some of these things i cannot deny, such as the pocket dialing, random screen freezes and shutdowns, and a primitive touch screen. BUT, i have owned this phone for 4 years now, and after watching phones evolve over time there are a few things that I absolutely love about the phone.- One of the beast Non smart phones I can find (I don't pay any data fees, but I know peoples plans vary)- The camera takes great photos and videos- The BEST *physical* keyboard I have used on a phone- Micro SD HC storage (I am using an 8 gb card)- Touch screen is very convenient- Apps that you will Actually use (calender, notepad, calculator, alarm clock, bluetooth)- Physically durable to scratches and dentsAs I said, I don't pay for data, and when looking for phones wanted one that had a decent camera, sd storage, and a qwerty keyboard, and an easy to use app system.The Camera is a Schneider Lens with a 3.2 MP auto focus lens that takes 2048 X 1536 resolution still images and 640 X 480 video. For a non smart phone, the only camera I have seen better is that on the Sharp Kin 2. There are some fun settings to use for the camera but what i find most important is that you can record as long as you want with a micro sd card.The keyboard was the selling point for me on this phone. I wanted a physical keyboard, and today's smartphones don't offer ones this size (the next closest is that of the motorola droid 3. The keys are raised, there is space in between every key, and you can feel as well as hear a physical click when you press the key. It is a 4 row keyboard including numbers, and as I said, this is the best keyboard i have found on a phone, I text blindly in class all the time without having to look at the keyboard.The micro sd card slot is easy to access and and with storage the size of your sd card you can store music, movies, pictures and videos and easily transfer then to your computer.Now personally, I use the touchscreen to access the apps I use (calender, alarm clock, a fantastic note pad, calculator, and music). It allows for an easy access to these functions, and i also use the screen to dial numbers and do basic functions if i can only use one hand. I use the front touchscreen to read texts, then open the phone, and a reply box automatically opens so I can easily respond with the full keyboard.I typically open the phone up if i want to text someone, and all you have to do is start typing their name, your contact book goes to them, and you press a dedicated text button and get going easily!!!I love the phone, its 2011 and I plan on buying another one because I dont need to spend money on the distractions that data plans have to offer for 30 dollars a month.Hopefully you can see past the minor technical issues and unresponsive touchscreen and see the positives for the phone

I had this phone for 2 years, but switched to a stupid samsung intensity 2 over the summer because it was time for an update. I didn't want to waste the money for the data fee on a smart phone.My new phone has been a piece of garbage since the day I got it. I was so close to tears when I walked into verizon and they said they stopped making the EnVtouch. I loved it so much that I wanted another one. I never had problems with the touch screen, I actually liked the sensitivity of it because I have long nails, so it was so perfect for me! It didn't fit into my skinny jeans very well, but the full flip up keyboard with the internal screen was awesome. The battery did start to die off quickly within about a year and a half... but it only costs $3 for a new one here on amazon. I am going to buy a new one and switch back as soon as possible!One thing that I suggest to people who are having problems with this phone is that you should go into verizon every few months to get your phone updated. I only did this once through the time I had this phone, but once you get the "update" it starts to run like new again. If callibration is off on the touchscreen they can fix it at the store, or you could go into the settings menu and fix it yourself. All of this is free to have done at the store.This phone has been amazing, I can't wait to switch back!

Most of the retailers on this site are selling used phones advertised as new. I personally have done business with one retailer, Cellphones-4u. The phone arrived in a Verizon box, unsealed, loosely floating in a plastic tray, not an LG box as it should have been. You could tell the wall charger was extremely used and subsequently, didn't work. Immediate RED flag. Called Verizon, gave them the MEID# that is located inside the battery compartment. The lady told me that the phone had been used on the separate accounts. So it spent most of it's life in shipment. Cellphones-4u keeps insisting that it is new from Verizon. He posted it under my bad review on their site. So, he is calling me and Verizon liars. In hindsight, I noticed that every bad review that was posted for Cellphones-4u, he had a reply that they were in essence, thieves or liars. Do your homework. When you receive your phone, call your service provider, give them the MEID# and find out if it is indeed a new phone. They are charging new price, make them provide what they advertise.

Not 100% New

The original seal (black label) is torn, covered by fake-looking Samsung Do-Not-Accept-If-Seal-Is-Broken sticker. I paid about $30 more from Amazon vendor to make sure I really get brand new item. But I guess this is as good as it can be. Everything in it seems new. Hope it is at least factory refurb. Still better than the "BRAND NEW" s3 I bought from a reputable eBay seller. Had to return it.When I booted this phone up, instruction is in Mandarin. Need my Chinese friend's help to change it to English. I will update this review after I play with it a little bit and check if it is really unlocked. I gave 5 stars because this is an excellent phone. I like it better than iPhone 5 because of Android flexibility with the apps. I bought S2 in the past and can't wait to use this one. Do your research before buying, there are 2 models, I9300 & T999. Choose wisely. ^_^

Excelent purchase but on French.

The cel is excelent. The ítem was delivery on time, but It was on french. The cel and manuals was only on french. I could changed the language of the phone and I found the english manuals on the web, but the vendor specs should said that.

Better than iPhone,

I have had Samsung phones, where the screens are nice, but the plastic bodies come apart all of the time and feel flimsy. I have had iPhones, where the user interface is just so boring, even with all those apps that cost you money.The Nokia has wonderful Nokia apps already installed, such as Nokia Drive, which gives you directions while you are driving with a talking attendant, it is super accurate and fun to use. You get Nokia Music, which is a free music service with 1500 playlists put together by expert music people, very good and it's free! You get ESPN, Nokia City Lens, which is where you hold your camera up while you are walking a city street and it will give you information about the area and what you are pointing at, it is really cool. And there are other free Nokia apps as well, like Camera Extras, that let you do things like take action shots and panorama photos. There's a Six Flags app, PGA Tour, Contacts Transfer, The Caddie +, Univision, Groupon, Soundtracker that connects you to Internet Radio for free, let's you get concert tickets, look at lyrics, share comments with your friends on their music, et. There's Counters, that keeps track of calls and data usuage, Creative Studio, which is a photo editing app, and so much more!As a Windows Phone, you will have 7GB of Free Cloud Storage (which is the most for any Cloud Storage offered) for all your files and music and apps on Sky Drive, with the option to upgrade at a cost.The camera takes great pictures with the Carl Zeiss lense and there are ways to adjust you settings. The phone takes great 720p videos, which is a whole lot better than 1080p in a lesser camera.The Windows 7.5 user interface is super easy to use, and it is very pretty to look at. There are a ton of apps in the MarketPlace, and the most popular ones are there, many of them are free.The beutiful cyan body on this phone is a matte finish, so it doesn't show fingerprints, it is made of polycarbonate, which is the same hard plastic that eye glass frames are made. If you were to get a deep scratch the color goes all the way through, so it won't show. Even the USB Charger has a modern style, with it's round geometric shape outlet plug. All in all this is one hot phone.

My first Windows Phone! Amazing experience!

I just bought this phone a few weeks ago and it is gorgeous. The screen just blew me away and the OS is very fast and user friendly. This is the first time I try a Windows phone and I have to say that it's been a wonderful experience. From now on I'll just use Windows phone for my daily use. My next gadget will be Nokia Lumia 920. I just can't look foward for this phone to hit the market. Nokia designs the best and most beautiful phones and now they work with the best OS on the market. Well done, Nokia and Microsoft!Now, let's talk about Apps. I've read many comments of people talking about the ''lack of app'' on the Marketplace. I can tell my own experience. I come from Android and also I had a Apple iPhone 4S and the only App missing on the Marketplace (talking about me and the apps I use the most) are Instagram and OVO (and I've heard Instagram is comming soon to Windows Phones before this year ends). I have Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Foursquare, MSN, KiK, Viber, Badoo, SkyDrive, Tango, Skype,Youtube,Shazam, SoundHound, Netflix, IMDb, Evernote, ESPN, CNN, Univision,SkyMap, TuneIn Radio, WhatsApp, Wikipedia and Weather much more... Also the Nokia App (Nokia Maps, Drive, City Lens, Music, Trailers, Creative Studio, Counters, Soundtracker, Transit, Contacts Transfer, Camera Extras and much more). The Marketplace keeps growing. The integration of Facebook, twitter, MSN, LinkedIn and Foursquare in my Windows Phone is AMAZING! I can put comments and give ''likes'' directly from my phone due to the AMAZING integretion between those Apps and my phone. and I don't have to go to the Facebook or Twitter App to do that.I'm totally in love with my Nokia Lumia 900 and its amazing OS! I 100% recommend it! If you wanna be different, switch and go for it! Nokia Lumia phones the amazing experience!

Hi,I bought a cell phone by Amazon with the following description: "Nokia 900 Lumia Blue (Cyan) Factory Unlocked", Sold by: BLUTEKUSA.When I got the phone I was surprised that box and cell phone were "at&t", since the main reason why buy the cell phone was because it was factory unlocked. Also when I insert the SIM, the phone displays a message requesting an unlock code.I wrote to the company and I received excellent advice to unlock the phone.I am very happy with my phone.
