I got this for my son who is legally blind. It's perfect for him! Not only can he see the large buttons, he can see the display enough to text. It helps him be more independent and he's been searching for that. I feel more at ease when he is away from the house.

this is the phone for the hard of hearing it has large numbers and is loud it has no bells and whisles its just a phone that works anywhere thats what i wanted its a just5 phone you can store numbers and it has call waiting what else do you need........

I bought this for my sister who has limited vision. It is of poor quality and it does not have a speaker phone. Even though it has big numbers the display is hard to see because of the digital display color.It was loud enough but it has very low reception, it would constantly drop the calls. It would also occasionaly have a loud piercing noise that could have damaged the ear drum.The idea of having big number dial pad is great, but it needs more work.I would not recommend it. I have since returned it and received my refund.The company was very understanding, I would do business with them again for other products.
