the screen is indeed responsive, the phone itself does not respond as fast as I would like, but it is certainly not slow or anything, the only complaint I have is there is a slight delay when turning the phone to use the qwerty keyboard. The Nokia operating system is new to me, was a little hard to get used to but I really like it. The on board software is easy to use.The only reason I don't give five stars is the MMS configuration. I managed to do it wrong and caused the phone to crash continuously. This was resolved by removing the sim card and resetting to factory default. Also the reason for the problem might be because of the Simple Mobile network. I chose this phone mainly for the reason that it has the 1700 mhz bandwidth to handle SimpleMobile's 3G network.

For the price it is unbeatable. We ultimately returned it because the touch screen qwerty was way too small for texting. If you know someone who's comfortable texting alphanumerically, then I highly recommend this phone.
