Bought this phone as a back up (I live in a storm struck region) - The phone feels light and has a good form factor. - A full charge lasts for 2 days (provided u adjust the screen brightness and other battery requiring functions). - The music buttons on top of the phone are a bit annoying. There is no way to quickly see the time on the cover display. - It has customized charging ports which are also you headphone ports. So I bought additional headphones. The music sounds great. - The buttons are large and convenient. The shortcut keys may need customization. - Also had to buy a memory card. This is not a standard SD card but a proprietary M2 card which also means you will have to buy its adapter if you wish to transfer music form your computer.Final word: though it requires some additional accessories. I still like it as a basic phone. Works well, and the calls are clear and audible.

I was abit leary of purchasing a cell phone online but had asked a few questions of the seller before purchain this phone.This is my 3rd W518a,I have had 2 contracts with AT&T and have 1 every 2 years (my 2nd is still working).I tried AT&T but they do not sell this phone,or the battery,anylonger.I liked this model so I decided to purchase it and I am 100% satisfied that I did.It works Extremely well and since I purchased it from a compant other than AT&T I still am contract free!

I have tried to purchase a used Sony Ericsson W518a Cell Phone for about since January this year. The reason the orignal phone gave me was problem with the charger,it stop working. Thought it was battery, bought new one ,still didn't work, so tried new charger .it did not make the phone work either. So, tried to purchase another. Got one on ebay great price, but once I got it the lite didn't work. it was full charged everything except.when you open the flip phone lite flash..then out lite...so, thanks I didn't stop I just wanted my Sony Ericsson phone back.. Then I tried Amazon.com I received great price..and working. excellent cell phone with no problem. Thank You to the seller.
