Bad Sound

This is a good phone except that everyone complains that they cannot hear me talking--it sounds like I am in a well. I got Verizon to replace it, but the new phone had the same problem.

Worst phone I have ever owned, though I WANT to love it!

At first glance, I thought that this was the coolest phone I have ever owned! I love the rubberized feel, the water resistance, and the GzGear apps. It's size is great, nice and thin, super easy to read front display, even in direct sunlight. Its perfect for an active lifestyle, EXCEPT, it doesn't work. When on a call, the other person can not hear me. It sounds like I am in a tunnel for a few moments and then the volume on their end fades to nothing! So, I am stuck using speakerphone or a headset. Upon searching, I found this to be a very common problem with these phones. It would be the best phone ever, if it worked.

The first one I bought was "new" but upon receiving the item the Microphone didn't' work. The second one was "refurbished" as all of the "new" ones were sold out. The second phone, the refurbished, one had the same problem with the microphone where no one could hear what I was saying on the other end.The phone itself looked excellent, like new both times, and came in a nice box with battery and charger. I am just highly disappointed that two phones in a row were dead on arrival due to the microphone not working. I bought this as a gift for my father for Christmas and this is sort f embarrassing. I will be trying ONE more time and if this phone is dead on arrival too than I will stop trying.But be warned that there is obviously a problem with these phones with the microphone (which is an important part to the phone).
