Great Little Cell Phone

First, Amazon is still the BEST. As the direct seller, the item was guaranteed brand new and still had the manufacturer's seal(!) which was missing on two previous BLU Tank orders that I made with Unlocked Cell Phone Kings. The phone itself was amazing and a great value for this budget device. Removed one star because the manufacturer did not put in precise instructions on how to properly copy MP3 music files. NOR would they assist without going through the distributor.Since I've been helped a lot by other customer review tips, here's a guide on how to play your music on this mobile phone. Follow the user guide until you have connected the device to a pc. Format the memory card on your computer prior to copying files, 'create' a new file name MY MUSIC and copy mp3 files to this folder directly. Note - do NOT use any other name! When completed, dismount (or disconnect) USB device safely from computer. Boot up your phone and go to audio player. Make sure that memory card is the default playlist under settings and your mp3s should appear when 'all songs' is selected.Am sure the above will work on similar devices by BLU Products e.g. BLU Tank. Hope this helps...

Manual screen lock

I have the Blu T190 tank and yes instructions are very lacking. But I had figured out that screen lock is1. Press center d-pad2. Then press '*'Still trying to figure out speed dialing. Holding down the key does not work. Yes basic phones with BT.

This phone works fine with T-mobile in the USA. It is a very basic phone for making and receiving calls. Text messaging is also very basic. There is no auto-fill function which is ok if you do not use texting constantly. Yes, there is a screen lock. I have finally have figured out speed dialing. There is a settling that you have to turn on but the screen says off when it is on and on when it is off. When the screen says off then you can use speed dialing. Also, you have to manually input your voicemail into you phonebook and speed dial. One thing that I haven't figured out yet and am kind of bummed that I cannot use is an appointment/comment function to the calendar. Also, there is virtually no phone memory to use the camera function so you have to buy the mini memory card. I haven't gotten around to doing that so I cannot comment on the camera. The instructions are not that helpful and I had to play with the phone to figure things out. Although it's probably not a good idea, I have also dropped this phone a bunch of times. The back and battery pop off but I just put it back together and it hasn't broken yet. I wanted a basic phone and this is about as basic as you can get. It serve my purposes of making and receiving calls and a few texts here and there. If you're looking for a phone with more than that you probably need to look somewhere else.
